Davenport Road - testing for future TTC projects
Starting September 11 for approximately two weeks
What we are doing and why
Starting Wednesday, September 11, TTC will be conducting some borehole testing on the south side of Davenport Road, adjacent to TTC’s Davenport building. This work is required to collect data in support of future/potential renovation projects to the Davenport building.
Two locations in the eastbound curb lane/bike lane will be tested and will involve some drilling and coring. One location will be tested at a time.
The testing will take place Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Traffic and parking restrictions
On a daily basis, a safe work zone will be established in the eastbound curb lane/bike lane on Davenport Road. Street parking will be temporarily restricted near the work zone.
Sidewalks and driveway access will be maintained.
127 Davenport buses will maintain regular routing on Davenport Road.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve transit infrastructure in Toronto.
